Day Four

I remember the smell of the sea
Crests came crashing
Like instant blue mountains
Surrendering at my feet

And too, the sting of the sand
Wind-arranged insects
Crawling on my skin
Signaling the coming storm

Day Three

Rain falls on the tree
Two branches slowly appear
A change of seasons

Day Two

So little time had gone by
The sun shone so brightly in the eye
Caught a glimpse of green, green life
But down it came, begging me to die

Blue, blue lips and deep red eyes
The time so quickly flew on by
There were you, there stood I, there was time
Before I knew, I was losing my mind

Call the hounds, call them off
Now I'm free, but what's the cost?
All I love, all my love has to die
For all that, so too should I?

Crawling, falling darkened rain
Leaves so wet but where's the pain?
Falling in, falling out, falling down
All will pass, but will I forget the sound?
